Give Local BC volunteer directory

For organizations

Be listed in the directory

If your organization runs volunteer opportunities in British Columbia, we’d like to include you. There is no cost, and listing does not ask you to change anything about how you recruit — we simply point people to your own volunteer page.

Who can be listed

We don’t list individual businesses, political campaigns, or programs that charge volunteers a fee to participate.

What we need from you

  • Organization name and main website
  • A one-line description and a 2–4 sentence description of what volunteers actually do
  • Cause area(s) and the region(s) you serve
  • The direct URL of your official volunteer / registration page
  • Charitable registration number, if you have one
  • Minimum age for volunteers, and whether parental consent is required for minors
  • Whether you can provide a signed volunteer-hours letter or log on request (many students need this)
  • A contact name and email for us to verify details and follow up on changes

How to submit

Send the information above to give.local.volunteering@gmail.com, or use the submission form. We review every submission by hand and confirm the details before publishing — usually within two weeks. We’ll email your contact when the listing goes live, and again when it’s due for its six-month re-check.

Keeping your listing accurate

Tell us any time your volunteer URL, programs, or age rules change — email give.local.volunteering@gmail.com. We’d rather pull a listing than leave a broken link for a student on a deadline.

Email addresses on this page are placeholders for this build. Replace them with your real inbox before launch — see the project README.
