What volunteers do here
Backpack Buddies delivers bags of ready-to-eat food every Friday to food-insecure children across BC — now about 6,800 children a week, including schools from Victoria to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island. Volunteers pack food bags in pairs or small groups during 3-hour shifts at the North Vancouver warehouse. The volunteer program is currently full; new volunteers are placed on a waitlist rather than signed up immediately.
