What volunteers do here
The Canadian Red Cross responds to house fires, floods, wildfires and other emergencies across BC. Volunteers train to staff reception centres and provide personal support to evacuees, deliver the Health Equipment Loan Program, make friendly calls to isolated adults, and help communities prepare for disasters. Emergency-response roles are on call and require completing training first.
