What volunteers do here
An all-volunteer ground and technical search-and-rescue team working under RCMP and Emergency Management BC direction, answering 80–100 calls a year. Membership requires passing a recruitment training program, weekly training attendance, and 300+ volunteer hours annually — a serious, ongoing commitment rather than a drop-in activity. Recruitment runs in cycles, so check the site for the current intake window before applying.
