What volunteers do here
Covenant House Vancouver provides shelter, housing and support for young people aged 16 to 24 who are homeless or at risk. Because the work is with vulnerable youth, most volunteer roles are behind the scenes: preparing meals, maintaining the building and gardens, helping in the kitchen, and supporting fundraising events. Direct youth-facing roles are limited and screened carefully.
