An independent animal shelter (established 2003) in Aldergrove. Volunteers walk dogs, clean kennels, care for and enrich cats, help with vet transport, reception, and grounds upkeep, and foster kittens. Ages 13-17 may volunteer with cats only with a parent present at all shifts; 18+ can volunteer independently. Requires orientation/training and a 2-hour/week, 6-month minimum commitment.
